Malta Poker Festival Spring 2024

The Malta Poker Festival returns to Portomasso Casino, running from April 22nd through April 29th. 

The highlight is the MPF Grand Event powered by Unibet Deepstack Open, which boasts a 300K Guarantee and offers 6 starting days.  The €550 Grand Event has 40 minute blind levels (20 minute levels in the turbo flights) and all day 1s play down to the money.  Blind levels increase to 50 minutes on Day 2 providing more in-depth gameplay. Satellites offer the chance for players to play the Grand Event for as little as 70 Euros. The 2023 Grand Event had 1,226 entries with a total prize pool of €586,760 and Lewis Coffin, the Champion, won over 100,000 Euros. 

Malta Poker Festival Schedule

Staple events include HORSE 5 Mix, Ladies First!, Bounty Hunter Days, APAT Maltese Championship, The Hendon Mob Championship, Seniors Event and many more. Several events have hosts, which adds a more personal touch to the festival. Jeanne David, from the USA, is the HORSE 5 Mix host this year and KerryJane Craigie, Ladies First! host.  Rolf Arne Bachstorm, is hosting Friday 2 Stack and last year’s Senior Champion, Buddy is hosting the event this year and hopes to defend his title.

New to the schedule this year is a €2,500 Super High Roller on Friday, April 26th and Saturday, April 27th. The Super High Roller is a two-day event with 40 minute levels. On Thursday, there is €300 satellite for the Super High Roller.

Action continues through Monday, April 29th and closes with a Malta Poker Last Chance NLH tournament.
