SiGMA Poker Tour Heads to Malta this September
The SiGMA Poker Tour’s second stop in Malta complements SiGMA Euro-Med, taking place from 1 -3 September. SiGMA Euro-Med delegates and guests will find themselves traveling back and forth from the Mediterranean Maritime Hub in Valletta to Portomaso Casino in St. Julian’s for the poker action, with the first tournaments on Tuesday, 2 September . On Thursday, once the three-day SiGMA Euro-Med conference ends, the action will continue through Sunday, 7 September at Portomaso Casino.
The SiGMA Poker Tour poker schedule includes a mixture of satellites, invitational-only events, the €150,00 guaranteed Main Event, a SiGMA Divas Event and the Hendon Mob Championship.
The current SiGMA Agenda is perfectly planned to allow participants to experience both the SiGMA Euro-Med and to play poker. Players will be able to buy directly into the tournaments directly at Portomaso Casino, the day of the event. The SiGMA Poker Tour aligns with the SiGMA Foundation, the group’s charitable arm, to make a meaningful impact in the communities it visits. For each main tour stop, a percentage from every buy-in at a designated side event will be donated to support local SiGMA Foundation projects, including Dreams of Horses Farm in Xaghra, Gozo, The Women Empowerment Institution in Ethiopia and the Youth Empowerment through Sport in São Paulo, Brazil.
